|| Follow up: Steps from our class process
Step (in brief) using the Canva template: Bright Pink Cake Pops
- Delete pink box on right
- Ad a Background: (left menu)
- Delete “cake pops” photo AND Frame below it
- Upload and or select your photo (left menu)
Use stock photo (Images menu on left) if you choose - Set margins for desktop vs mobile:
File > Rulers
This template file is 850 x 315 ish
( you will loose 90 on either side)
set guides at 90 & 760 ish
File > Guides - Edit the type: type options above work area and in left menu
fonts, colors, etc - Layer “Position” (top option menu)
- Delete graphic dots
- Add graphic line
change color - Animate: (top options menu)
page 1 animation is now done - SAVE a COPY for your template:
notice which tab and which file you are working on - Duplicate your page to begin animation page 2
Change photo and text
Repeat for all your animation pages - FB cover animation needs to be 30-90 seconds
duplicate pages if needed to get to 30+ seconds
then change order of if pages needed - Download mp4 (icon on top right)

Text:
– Add an effect to you text or
– Try out text with a fun effect from the left text menu.
Your Logo:
– Upload your logo and create a beginning or end page featuring it.
Elements (graphic objects:)
– some objects are pre animated, look through the elements menu of the left and try an animated object.
